What I’m About.

A good blog, I am told, has a specific focus. Well, mine doesn’t! I have a wide range of interests, particularly music, writing and politics. And they are all included in my blog in one way or another.

I have a wide range of philosophical interests, and in particular am interested in trying to unravel the assumptions, axioms, and hidden perspectives woven into popular culture, its ideas and theories.

I am involved in two musical projects. The first, ‘hiddensounds’, is an electronic-experimental project. The second, ‘Infinite Ox’, is an indie-rock band. I use this blog to provide updates on the goings-on of each.

I have a particular love of short stories. I include these from time to time as a post. I also write micro-stories which you can find on my twitter account.

My blogs have become rare recently (though I am hoping for this to become more regular soon!), which I put down to managing various musical and writing projects, doing a PhD in Soundscape Design and looking after my two kids, both under 5 years old.
